Students are able to utilize certain book awards as payment on the WIU Bookstore Website and in the Bookstore.

The following book award(s) may be applied to your textbook order beginning January 6, 2026 : - Book Award (covers Minority Achievement and REACH).

The last day to utilize the award(s) will be February 20, 2026.

The ability to charge books and supplies to your student account will be available starting on January 6, 2026. The default limit is $600. If you require more and are expecting Financial Aid, please contact Financial Aid at 309-298-2446. This ability to charge books and supplies to your student account will end on March 13, 2026.

You may not rent textbooks when using a Book Award.

Shipping costs are NOT covered by Financial Aid or Book Awards and Can Not be charged to student accounts.

A credit card will be required on all orders.

On the CHECKOUT page of your order, under CHOOSE PAYMENT OPTION, select Student Financial Aid. At this point you will still be required to enter your Credit Card information.

Your credit card will not be charged unless the total exceeds your Book Award or charge limit or you have items in your cart that are not covered by your Book Award. If you picked UPS shipping, your credit card will be charged the appropriate amount.

Supply Kits (Nursing, Art, etc.) may be purchased using Book Awards.

Some school supplies are covered by Book Awards and may be purchased in-store or online at bookstore.wiu.edu.
