Financial Aid Book Awards 

Students are now able to utilize certain Book Awards as payment on the WIU Bookstore Website and in the Bookstore.

The following Book Awards may be applied to your textbook order beginning August 7th, 2023:

- Minority Book Award

- Financial Aid Book Award

  - Leatherneck Book Award

The last day to utilize these awards will be September 22nd, 2023.

The ability to charge books and supplies to your student account (up to $600) will be available starting on August 7th, 2023.

This ability will end on August 30th, 2023.

Any other Financial Aid, Scholarship, Grants or loans not listed here, that have been applied to your student account cannot be utilized via the WIU Bookstore website or in the Bookstore..

You may not rent textbooks when using a Book Award.

Shipping costs are not covered by Book Awards.

A credit card will be required on all orders.

- On the CHECKOUT page of your order, under CHOOSE PAYMENT OPTION, select Student Financial Aid.  At this point you will still be required to enter your Credit Card information. 

- Your credit card will not be charged unless the total exceeds your Book Award amount or you

have items in your cart that are not covered by your Book Award.

Supply Kits (Nursing, Art, etc) may be purchased using Book Awards.

Some school supplies are covered by Book Awards and may be purchased in-store or online at bookstore.wiu.edu.
